Rio de Janeiro, Aug 20 : India was disqualified in the men’s 4X400 metres competition in the Heat 2 at the Olympic Games here. The team comprising Kunhu Muhammed, Muhammed As, Ayyasamy Dharun and Rajiv Arokia on Friday failed to make a legitimate effort and was disqualified. Jamaica, the United States, Belgium, Botswa, Poland, defending champion Bahamas, Cuba and Brazil grabbed the top eight positions respectively to qualify for the fil. IANS
