Leopard caged, later released

Dibrugarh, Oct 10: The forest department caged a leopard here on Monday, which had been terrifying the residents of Jokai region, near Dibrugarh town. The forest officials had put up the cage following panic in the entire area. The straying leopard had been creating mece in the area by attacking domestic animals and local people after it had come out from Jokai Reserve forest. The caged leopard was later let loose at Joypur Forest by the forest department officials.
