DEMOW, Jan 30: Under the patroge of All Tai Ahom Students’ Union (ATASU), Demow Regiol Committee, the Me-Dam-Me-Phi celebration started in Demow and it will be celebrated for two days at Demow Public Playground.
As per the programme, on Tuesday the rituals of the festival began with the Phuralung Puja in the afternoon which was followed by the offerings and prayers and in evening the Ahom community dress competition was held where different competitors took part.
