New dental care hospital iugurated in Tezpur

TEZPUR, August 10: A new hospital med Tezpur Super Specialty Dental Care was iugurated at Kamarchuburi-Murhateteli  in the heart of Tezpur town with a venture of EMM Hospital & Research Centre, Tezpur on Tuesday.

Laya Madduri, Deputy Commissioner of Sonitpur, expected that the new dental care hospital would be able to provide the necessary dental care service to the people coming from far and near.  The iugural function was conducted by noted artist and reputed physician Dr Jahara Begum and was graced by lawyer Iske Alom, president of Baan Theatre, Mahendra Keot, noted social worker and academician Bijai Saikia, Ritubaran Sharma, Jitu Agarwala and Dr Pradip Sharma, among others. Besides the Deputy Commissioner, other dignitaries present also spoke on the occasion.

Stressing the objectives of the hospital and facilities to be offered to the patients, Dr Farah Parveen said that Tezpur Dental Care was a long-awaited dream that had come true and said that TDC was an attempt to provide improved specialized and most modern dental health care treatment to the people of Tezpur and patients from all the neighboring States.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Manuj Mirdha said that besides providing better dental health care to the patients, the TDC was also committed to provide care to the poorer section of the society, besides providing such patients treatment at subsidized rates.  Dental care service will also be offered  free of cost to the family members of the cultural icons, Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha, Rupkonwar Jyotiprasad Agarwala, tasurya Phani Sharma and Dr Bhupen Hazarika, he announced.
