MARGHERITA, June 22: Assam Bihari garik Bikash Manch president Dr Om Prakash Sahu of Margherita has slammed and criticized the Modi government for giving green sigl to Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the country. Dr Sahu said that by implementing foreign equity of 100 per cent under government approval for trading in processed foods, including via e-commerce, defense, aviation and retail sector, the economy of the country would be destroyed. “There is no difference between former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and present Prime Minister rendra Modi. Both work only to benefit the capitalists and corporate houses. FDI is a curse for our country and I appeal to all the people to fight against Prime Minister rendra Modi’s dictatorial policy,” said Dr Sahu.
