Haflong, Sept 19: Dehon Kemprai, father of Bebendra Kemprai, living at Surathga, Haflong, who succumbed to his injury following a road accident on 2.8.2017 near the NCHAC workshop, submitted a memorandum to the Superintendent of Police, Dima Hasao on Tuesday. Bebendra Kemprai succumbed to his injury following a road accident near the NCHAC workshop and his companion Aponi Kemprai, resident of Gadain Raji, Haflong sustained serious injury, who has now recovered. Dehon Kemprai said that Aponi Kemprai, whom his son had escorted to his room taken at Gadain Raji, would certainly explain in detail about the incident, as he was with his son, although now he might either fear to speak the truth or he was directly involved in the incident. Both injuries of the deceased Bebendra Kemprai and his companion Aponi Kemprai were found in the same area, behind the head, which reveals that the culprit might be an expert in martial arts who knew how to injury one person and kill the other, stated the memorandum. Therefore, Dehon Kemprai urged the Dima Hasao Superintendent of Police (SP) to look into the matter and take necessary arrangement to probe the incident.
