Itagar, Dec 29: Union Minister of Communication and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad awarded best performing states and districts during digital India week celebrated in July in a glittering award function organized by the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) under Ministry of Communication and IT at New Delhi on Monday.
Among others the department has selected three districts from Aruchal Pradesh to receive the award. The awards were received by R K Sharma, Mamta Riba and Isha Khosla deputy commissioners of msai, Kurung Kumey and East Siang districts respectively. They were accompanied by Sanjiv Kr Das, Bamang Chai and Amujao P, representatives of NIC/DICs, an official communiqué informed.
msai came first in the best performing districts of the state followed by Kurung Kumey and and East Siang in the second and third places respectively.
The awards were presented to these best performing districts on the ‘Good Governce Day’ held on Monday in the tiol capital, the communiqué added.
