TANGLA, May 7: To mark the end of Bohaag Bihu celebration, brisk preparations are on to hold the 22th Sadou Tangla Bohagi Utsav by Tangla Yuva Mancha here at Tangla HS playground in a befitting manner with a three-day long colourful programme from May 12 to May 14, said secretary of Tangla Yuva Mancha, Diganta Rabha. A 51-member strong organizing committee headed by Prasanta Kr. Deka (Bipul) as president, Tridip Baruah as working president, Lochan Sarma and Rudra Deka joint secretaries, along with different sub-committees have been formed. The programme will witness Semonia Bihu dance competition, Bihuwan and Bihuwati competition on first day followed by State-level Mukoli Bihu competition on second day. The main attraction of the concluding day cultural night programme will be acclaimed Indian playback and folk singer, Kalpana Patowary.
