CHAPAR, September 25: The 150-year-old Sarbajanin Durga Puja at Bahalpur here in Dhubri district will be celebrated with a five-day long programme at Bahalpur Barpara here from October 19 to October 23. Various programmes have been planned to orgainse from Bell baran on October 19 to Vijaya Dashami on October 23. A new Puja committee has been formed with Kshirendra Chandra Ray as president and Harshajit Ray as general secretary. All sections of people are requested to extend their support to the Puja for its smooth functioning by the organizers.
