Progress of welfare schemes taken stock of in Sivasagar

JOYSAGAR, May 5: National Gram Swaraj Abhiyan union nodal officer Amitabh Ranjan Sinha visited Sivasagar district on Friday and took stock of the progress of various Union Government schemes implemented for BPL families.
Sinha visited the Gaurisagar Development Block and Khelwa Development Block and interacted with the Government officers concerned as well as with the local villagers. Sinha also examined the progress of various schemes like PMUY, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and asked the district authorities to focus on the welfare schemes adopted by the Union Government for the welfare of the poor and downtrodden people.
Nodal officer Sinha was accompanied by Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner PG Jha and other top officials of the Sivasagar administration during his visit.
