Quiz on wildlife held

Guwahati, Aug 26:The 8th edition WWF-India Wild Wisdom,  Assam City Level Fil was held today at Royal Global School here, stated a press release. Wild Wisdom Quiz is an initiative of WWF-India and Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) supported by Union Ministry of Earth Sciences, . The quiz was conducted in 15 cities across India, reaching out to more than 15,000 students. In addition to the Middle School Quiz, a quiz for Junior School (Classes 3-5) and an online quiz for High School (Classes 9-12) was also conducted.  Archita Baruah Bhattacharyya, Senior Programme Officer, Assam State Office, WWF-India, has informed that there are 37 schools participating from different places of Assam - Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Digboi, Tezpur, Karimganj, Goalpara, gaon, Sibsagar, Bokajan, North Lakhimpur, Silchar, etc. in this 2nd level of the Quiz. Abhra Das, president of Assam Quiz Association and well-known quiz master conducted the quiz here. Around 3000 students from 37 Schools of different parts of Assam participated in the 1st level of WWF-India Wild Wisdom Quiz.  Sanskriti-The Gurukul School from Guwahati was awarded with the special certificate of appreciation for maximum number of participants from the junior and middle schools from Assam.
