Itagar, March 29: The Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) and the tiol Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) on Wednesday inked a memorandum to mark the conclusion of the two-day tiol semir on the ‘role of CBOs and NGOs in emerging rural transformation scerio’.
The memorandum was signed for promoting
mutual cooperation in educatiol and research activities and for establishing a framework for programmes of exchange and collaboration in areas of rural development, tourism and other areas of common interests, a press release stated on Thursday.
RGU registrar Prof Tomo Riba signed the MoU on behalf of the central varsity while NIRDPR director Prof RM Pant was the sigtory for the institute.
During the semir, besides several research scholars, academicians, representatives from NGOs and community based organizations like Aruchal Pradesh Women Welfare Society, among others presented papers and shared their experiences, the release added.
