TANGLA, Nov 24: The Lai Khuta of 34th Rabha Sahitya Sabha was installed by State Minister of PHE and Food and Civil Supply, Rihon Daimari who is also the president of Reception Committee at Satish Chandra Rabha Samadhi Khetra near Tangla of Udalguri on Thursday. The four day long programme of the premier literary organization of the Rabha’s will kick off from December 27.
Delegates and people of Rabha community from various parts of the country are expected to participate in the programme. Moreover delegates from Bhutan, Nepal and Bangladesh will also take part in the programme. An estimated budget of 1crore 20 lacs is taken to organize the mega event. After installing the Lai-Khuta President of Receiption Committee, Rihan Daimari requested the people of the district to wholehertedly participate and make the event a grand sucess. MLA of Kalaigaon LAC Maheswar Boro also attended the programme along with activists from various organisations and student bodies.
