DEMOW, November 11: At Palengi near Demow, a team of Sivasagar Excise Department caught red-handed Jiban Gogoi, Headmaster of Palengi High English School and a resident Demow Kushal Path, while he was drinking liquor in the shop near Palengi High English School. According to sources, the Headmaster along with some other teachers of the school used to go to the shop which is near Palengi High English School and drink alcohol while classes go on in the school and also after school hours, alleged local people. Regarding this matter some of the concerned people of the area informed the Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner (DC) and on Friday, under the order of the Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner (DC), a team of Sivasagar Excise Department caught red-handed the Headmaster of the school. The Sivasagar Excise Department team took him to their office in Sivasagar and after that the Headmaster had a health check-up in Sivasagar Civil Hospital. Till the filing of this report the authority concerned was interrogating the Headmaster.
