GAURISAGAR, October 24 : Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) chairman-cum- Amguri MLA Anjan Dutta on Saturday iugurated a science laboratory, library and classroom in Gaurisagar Higher Secondary Industrial Institute, funded by Rastriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan (RMSA)at the cost of Rs .23,61,907 lakh.
Addressing the gathering, Dutta said that the Congress government had not been giving computers to students to secure votes. With the help of computers, students learn about information technology and this helps them achieve success in the competitive world, he said.
Dutta also emphasized that during the tenure of the Congress government, teachers were getting regular salary.
The meeting was conducted by Rikheswar Buragohain, president of the school maging committee. Earlier, Dilip Kumar Neog, Principal of the school welcomed the guests and gathering and explained the objective. On the same day Anjan Dutta iugurated a science laboratory, library and classroom in Dikhowmukh Higher Secondary School funded by RMSA.
