lbari, February 20: Late Apurba Kumar Sarma, a senior jourlist, writer and education officer was remembered in a public meeting held today at lbari organized by lbari District Jourlist Union, lbari District Students Union and lbari District Sports Union. The meeting was presided over by Rohini Medhi, former president, All Assam Joulist Union, while Basanta Das, the general secretary of the union explained the objectives of the meeting. “Late Sarma’s death is a great loss for the society,” said Dhruba Jyoti Sarma of lbari. He highlighted the contribution of late Sarma in the field of jourlism and literature. A good number office bearers from other organizations also attended the meeting.
