GAURISAGAR, Feb 15: A jewellery shop , a bicycle and a grocery shop at Chutia Basti under Haluwating Police Station in Sivasagar district were gutted in a devastating fire on Wednesday night.
The cause of fire is suspected to be electronic short circuit. Three fire tenders from Amguri and zira extinguished the fire. Property worth more than Rs 6 lakh was destroyed in the fire.
