Doomdooma,Sept 14: Under the aegis of Tinsukia Handball association and with active support of Doomdooma Sports Association (DSA), the Training & Selection camp for 34th Sub-Junior(U-15)for boys tiol Handball championship to be held at Hicchar, Harya from September 24 to 29 got off to a colourful start on Tuesday. The selection cum training camp which was iugurated on by Vice-President, Tinsukia District Handball Association Arjun Baruah at Doomdooma Town Field will continue upto September 20 and was attended by DSA President Dhiraj Gohain, Secretary Ra Sor, District Assistant Secretary Manoj Sharma, Treasurer Girish Dhekial Phukan and Doomdooma Handball Association Secretary Mamu Khanikar Begum. A total of 35 players belonging to Tinsukia,Doomdooma, Sivasagar, Jorhat,Golaghat, Sonitpur, lbari and Dhubri districts have participated in the selection cum training camp and for that a six members committee under the leadership of Senior Vice-President of State Handball Association Lalit Gogoi has been formed with Shah Miruj(Chief trainer),Sambhu Karmakar, Raj Kumar Chutia, Gautam Kumar Das and Surya Thapa as members.
