DHEKIAJULI, June 3: Subhankar Hore of Vivekanda Sister Nivedita School, Dhekiajuli, bagged the sixth position in the HSLC examition, 2015, securing 96.8 per cent (581).
Subhankar got letter marks in Advanced Maths (100), English (96), Hindi (94), General Maths(100), Social Studies (94) and General Science (97). He is the son of Sibu Hore and Lipika Hore.
Principal of the school, Pritush Chandra Dey and all teachers expressed their happiness with the overall result of the school. People of Dhekiajuli were seen in a jubilant mood. Subhankar told this correspondent that he studied for 7 to 8 hours. His aim is to study in IIT. Altogether 16 students appeared from this school and the pass percentage is 100 per cent. Fourteen students got first division, five got distinction and six got star marks.
Devendra Chandra Groov Memorial English School, Dhekiajuli recorded 100 per cent success. Out of 57 appeared candidates, seven got distinction, 14 got star marks, 47 got first division, seven got second division and three students got third division.
Little Angel English High School also recorded 100 per cent success. Out of 27 candidates, 11 candidates got star marks and three candidates got distinction.
