Tezpur, May 23: Tezpur University has brought another good news to the State. At a function held on Monday at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi, the Minister of State for Human Resource and Development (MHRD), Dr. Mahendra th Pandey presented Tezpur University the prestigious ‘Rajbhasha Shield’ award for the year 2015-16 for best implementation of the official language Hindi. Prof. Dhruba Kumar Bhattacharrya, Dean, Academic Affairs and Kul Prasad Upadhyay, Hindi Officer of the University received the award. Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy; Secretary, Department of Higher Education; Joint Secretary (Central Universities & Languages); Joint Secretary, D/o Official Language; Chairman, Central Board of Secondary Education; Vice Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtreiya Hindi Vishawvidyalaya; Commissioner, vodaya Vidyalaya Samiti; Chairman, AICTE; Chairman, NIOS; Chairman, Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology; Additiol Commissioner, KVS; Director, Kendriya Hindi Sansthan; Director (Official Language) and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
