Theft in school in Demow

DEMOW, February 20: At a time when the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examition is on, theft took place at Demow Higher Secondary School, which is a HSLC exam centre, on Friday night. The thief allegedly broke the lock of the confidential room, Principal’s room, teachers’ common room and destroyed important documents of the school. It is suspected that the thief had come in search of question papers but the school authority had kept the question papers in Demow Police Station. On Friday, Paran Hazarika, Principal of the school, lodged an FIR in Demow Police Station.  Moni Mohan Koch, OC of Demow Police Station, reached the spot and started investigation.
