Training-cum-awareness programme on first aid held

RANGIA, May 13: In order to train the common people about first aid treatment in case of any accident and disaster  and also  promote humanitarian values, an awareness-cum-training programme on first aid was held under the banner of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Rangia unit  here at Rangia Teachers’ Training College with a two-day long programme. The programme concluded on Friday. The event, being organized for the first time ever in such a manner by the IRCS, was participated by a large number of participants. Officials and distinguished resource persons of IRCS imparted relevant knowledge on the use of first aid. The participants were later awarded with certificates by IRCS.
