Tripura Speaker on eco-tourism in Northeast

Agartala, Sept 19: Tripura assembly speaker, Ramendra Chandra th while iugurating the three-day long Neermahal Festival at Melaghar in Sipahijala district, recently said, “North-East India has all potential to become a hot spot for eco-tourism and the central government must attach maximum importance to develop the tourist spots so that outsiders get interested about the region.

He said that all visitors must be ensured security while visiting this region. He warned the people about attempts by forces inimical to our country to disturb this region also and urged everyone to remain alert. Talking about Neermahal he said that apart from its unique feature of being the only water palace in eastern India it also has a historical background which attracts the tourist.
