TEZPUR, Sept 7: In a move to create patriotic feelings, Tezpur University (TU) community will groove to patriotic songs and engage in a brainstorming session as a part of the programme ‘Yeh India Ka Time Hain’ on September 9. The programme which is formulated by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) to commemorate 70 years of Independence and 75th year of the Quit India Movement, will be organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and tiol Film Division of India (NFDC). The objective of the programme is to impart patriotic feelings amongst the youth and to create a roadmap for New India by 2022. Voodoo Child, a Guwahati-based rock band will perform during the event. The rock performance will be preceded by a brainstorming session, where students of the university will participate.
