UGC team visits RGU

Itagar, April 10: A two-member committee of UGC’s Rajbhasha cell, New Delhi visited Rajiv Gandhi University on April 8 to assess and see the progress of Hindi language in the university. The visiting UGC team comprised of joint secretary (Official Language) UGC Dr. Urmila Devi and Hindi adviser UGC Dr. Ursila Minz. The UGC team interacted with the officers and officials, faculty members and students of the university and expressed satisfaction over the use of official language. Vice-chancellor Prof Tamo Mibang while welcoming the team informed about the developments initiated to promote Rajbhasha Hindi in the university. Registrar Prof. Rachob Taba, controller of examitions Prof. R Tamuli, fince officer-in-charge Prof. A Mitra, all the deans of various faculties, all deputy registrars and Hindi officer of the university were also present, stated a press release here today.
