MARGHERITA, May 28: The CBSE Class XII exam result was announced on Sunday where Bhargab Baruah, a student of Arts stream of Vivekanda Kendra Vidyalaya NEC Baragolai under Margherita brought laurels to the school by securing 96 percentage marks.
Bhargab Baruah got in English 91 marks, Economics 97 marks, History 100 marks, Geography 93 marks, Physical Education 99 marks and Informative Computer 87 marks. In the Science stream of VKV NEC Baragolai, out of 24 students who appeared, 22 got first division and one got second division. Dibya Pradhan secured 88 per cent marks, which is the highest among the 24 students.
In the Commerce Stream, out 24 students, 17 got first division and 7 got second division while P Pawani got 88 per cent marks, which is the highest mark among the 24 students.
Bhargab Baruah is the younger son of Mrilini Gayan Baruah, a resident of Audit Colony Margherita. Bhargab said that he would take admission at Delhi University with major in History and his aim is to appear for the UPSC examition and to become an IAS officer.
