Dibrugarh, April 20: A poorly-built wall that recently collapsed causing several injuries on one of the legs of a student, has raised several questions. It is being asked whether or not the owner of the wall compensate for the damages caused. As per the allegations of Dhekeri Gaon Banipur Mahila Samiti (DGBMS) and the victim’s family, the weak wall belonging to a person named Gaurishankar toppled within just two days of its construction. In the process, it left a student named Madhusmay Sonowal, whose house lay next to the wall, in a state of agony and pain. Sources have also revealed that the owner refused to compensate for the losses upon being approached by the victim’s family for the same. Instead, they were subjected to his boorish behaviour.
