Lakhimpur, July 2: A 14-year old boy, Pankaj Doley, son of Sutesh Doley of Dhakuakha Bokulguri died on Friday after he was bitten by a venomous ske. The deceased was a student of Class IX of Luitporia High School. According to sources, he embraced death while he was on the way to fish in a nearby stream. Although he was immediately shifted to Dhakuakha Government Hospital after the incident, he died due to the alleged absence of anti-venom injection in the hospital.
