ITANAGAR: A 10-day training programme on “papad, pickles, and masala powder making” and “fruits and vegetable pickles processing” under the Agro-Based & Food Processing Industry (ABFPI) of the union MSME ministry, successfully concluded here, on Saturday. The programme, aimed at empowering women self-help group (SHG) members and unemployed youths, was sponsored by KVIC Itanagar, and conducted by APRB-RSETI, Yupia.
A total of 25 women SHG members from Ajin Arum SHG, from here and Thung Dong Kar SHG from West Kameng district, along with participants from Papum Pare district, took part in the hands-on training. The initiative focused on skill development in food processing to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship among rural women.
