ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu extended his best wishes to Pura Sumpi, who represented the state at the Miss Universe India 2026 Grand Finale in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Sumpi, who was earlier crowned Miss Universe Arunachal Pradesh 2026, represented Arunachal Pradesh at the national-level competition held at Zee Studios.
Khandu described her participation as a moment of pride for the state and wished her success in the competition. He also conveyed his best wishes to Team Miss Universe Arunachal, led by State Director Takam Anju.
The Chief Minister expressed hope that Sumpi would represent Arunachal Pradesh with confidence and pride at the national stage. (Agencies)
