Arunachal: East Siang DC Tayi Taggu Reviews Progress of State and Central Schemes in DLMC Meeting

East Siang DC Tayi Taggu reviewed various ongoing state and centrally sponsored projects at the monthly DLMC meeting, urging for innovative approaches to enhance their impact and efficiency.

PASIGHAT: East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu today reviewed the progress of various ongoing state and centrally sponsored schemes during the monthly District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting held at the DC's Conference Hall. 

Taggu emphasized the importance of inter-departmental coordination for the successful completion of development projects. He also urged the Heads of Departments (HoDs) to submit innovative project proposals for the upcoming 2025-26 budget.

Key projects under review included the upgrade of Bakin Pertin General Hospital to a 300-bed facility, augmentation of water supply for Pasighat township, the Vatsalaya Sadan project, Pasighat Solid Waste Management, and infrastructure development at Arunachal University.

The DC also assessed the status of beneficiary schemes under the Chief Minister Social Security Schemes, initiatives in the agriculture and allied sectors, rural development projects, ongoing Pasighat Smart City Mission projects, and Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) activities.
