Itanagar: To ensure effective implementation and timely disbursal of loans under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swavalamban Yojana (DDUSY), Lower Subansiri deputy commissioner Oli Perme, convened a special district level review committee meeting on Wednesday. The meeting was attended by bankers and representatives of key line departments.
The DC directed all banks and concerned departments to proactively implement the schemes with a focus on efficiency and transparency. She emphasised that all pending processes under both schemes must be cleared without delay and set July 14, 2025 as the final deadline for disbursing loans to beneficiaries.
As part of the meeting, the DC also distributed appreciation certificates to bank managers who had successfully achieved their targets, encouraging others to follow suit and improve their performance. NABARD district development manager Lalit Kr Maurya, gave a detailed presentation on the various credit opportunities and beneficiary schemes available through scheduled banks, aiming to enhance financial inclusion in the district.
