A CORRESPONDENT
ITANAGAR: The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Brigadier (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.), presented the Governor's Citation to Professor Saket Kushwala, Vice-Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), for his literary acumen, administrative competence, and outstanding contribution to the transformative upgradation of RGU, the lone Central University in Arunachal Pradesh.
The other faculty members of RGU, whose good work and distinguished contributions to the students were also cited by the governor, attended a solemn function held at Raj Bhavan on Saturday. The RGU faculty members who were cited by the governor are Professor SK Nayak, Department of Economics, Professor B Nayak, Department of English, Professor P K Acharya, Department of English; Dr. K P Sing, Department of Social Studies. The Governor also presented a Silver Salver to Shyam Mehrortra, IG, North Eastern Frontier Headquarters ITBP, Brigadier Anirudh Singh Kanwar, Chief Engineer, Project Arunank, BRO; and Neha Yadav, Principal, PTC, Banderdeva, for their commendable performance and professional competence.
The governor, while congratulating the award recipients for their professionalism and good managerial skills, implored the awardees to continue their good performance and elan. The First Lady, Neelam Mishra, SN Mosobi DIG (Admin), ITBP, Dy Comdt. Sanjay Kumar were present at the event.
