Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) caught on the wrong foot

ITANAGAR, July 30: Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is yet again in the spotlight as two candidates complained of anomalies in the Commerce question paper.

The candidates Tasso Tallu and Etalo Mega in a complaint letter to the chairman APPSC on Monday has stated that, more than 64 questions were not from the prescribed syllabus in the recently held Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination (APPSCCE).

The duo has requested the APPSC office to provide grace marks or for those 64 questions or re-conduct the exam for Commerce based on prescribed syllabus, within 10-15 days.

Speaking to this daily, Tasso Tallu said that they have approached the chairman and the secretary in this regard and that the anomalies in the question paper were practically shown. He also said that the secretary has assured to look into the matter. The duo has also clarified that a re-conduct of the whole examination was not demanded.

Meanwhile, the APPSC secretary said that they have received complaints by the students and the matter has been forwarded to the Commission and that if it is found to be out of the syllabus, a decision will be taken.

Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Examination was recently conducted across the state.
