Arunachal Pradesh: Tarh Motors, APRB Ink Pact for Vehicle Finance

Tarh Motors and Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank (APRB) on Thursday inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to offer financing solutions for Tata Motors vehicle customers.

ITANAGAR: Tarh Motors and Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank (APRB) on Thursday inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to offer financing solutions for Tata Motors vehicle customers.

The agreement, including financing for commercial and passenger vehicles, was signed by Tarh Motor owner Tarh Nachung and APRB general manager Joy Ram Pait at Nirjuli, near here.

Speaking on the occasion, Pait said that the bank is feeling proud to be a partner with Tarh Motors to offer financing schemes for the customer across the state. “Through the agreement with Tata & Tarh Motors, there will be a growth in the small and medium enterprises (SME) sectors. Under the SME, there will be ample employment generation for the skilled and unskilled unemployed youths of the state,” he added.

Informing that the process for the signing of the MoU was going on for the last 10 months, Nachung said that he is confident that the deal would help individuals and SMEs in purchasing commercial vehicles.

“Though we have an empanelled bank, including SBI and SDB, we have selected APRB for the larger interest of the customers of Tata Motors,” Nachung said.

Expressing gratitude to the APRB for extending their help, he added that the agreement would strengthen the aims and objectives of Tata Motors by providing more accessible finance to the customers.

During the agreement, matters pertaining to the official works, how to support and provide facilities so that genuine customers may not face any hindrance at the time of availing financial assistance from the bank, were also discussed.
