BHALUKPONG: Twenty five members, led by Dr. Jumsang Sidisow and accompanied by the senior medical officers from the East and West Kameng, the Hope Health Centre (HHC), Bhalukpong recently undertook a reach out charitable diagnostic, medical and surgical health camp tour from October 19 to October 27, 2018 at the remote village of the greater Kameng district. The programme was organized with an objective to take health care to the doorsteps of the patients in every remote village of the area. Starting from Bhalukpong, the team conducted charitable health camps in six villages namely, Lada, Rapung, Sekhong, Richikrung of East Kameng district and Kayeng valley and Subu of West Kameng district. In all, 1300 patients of the remote villages availed diagnostic, medical and surgical facilities, where the team attended many emergency cases like babies suffering from severe Pneumonia, Pregnancy cases and ailing aged villagers suffering from Chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases.
