BOMDILA: The Deputy Commissioner of Bomdila, Karma Leki has stressed the need for construction of 'Community Sanitary Complexes' (CSC) under the 'Samudayik Shauchalaya Abhiyan' (SSA) in the educational institutions, community halls, cultural centers and other public places based on actual requirements.
This is a flagship programme under the Ministry of Jal Shakti.
While attending a meeting on the construction of 45 'CSCs' here, the DC directed the agencies concerned to liaise with departmental higher ups at Itanagar for completion of the projects within the stipulated time-frame of three months ending September 15, 2020. He also underlined the need for discussion and proper coordination at the block and gram levels for proper convergence and execution of such projects.
Earlier initiating the meeting, , Executive Engineer (PHE&WS) informed that the construction of the projects involves convergence of fund from SBM(G), FFC and MGNREGA, and appealed for convergence by the agencies for completion of these projects within the set deadline besides meeting the physical and financial target accordingly.
