Food processing Training under PMKVY concludes in Bomdila

BOMDILA: The month-long food processing training on jam, jelly and ketchup for the 60 trainees held here concluded on Monday. The training programme was taken up under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikash Yojana (PMKVY) and organized by Samarth Eduskill Pvt Ltd, New Delhi in collaboration with M/s Yangfan Enterprises, Bomdila.

Besides the hands-on training, the programme centered on inculcating the sense of entrepreneurship, providing free skill training to unemployed youths, generation of more job opportunity through skill development, assisting the trainees in availing loans from government institutions and above all, motivating unemployed youths to be self-reliant.

Attending the valedictory function, DDI PC Lama reiterating on the importance of acquiring skill training said that it is better to be self-reliant rather than a job seeker.

Also, she highlighted the schemes and other promotional activities carried out by the department for skill development.

HB Singha and N Khaklary from Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Guwahati imparted the training.
