Guwahati: Dr. Tadang Minu Honoured as Best Associate NCC Officer

Guwahati: Dr. Tadang Minu, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Education at Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), was awarded the ‘Best Associate NCC Officer (ANO), Tezpur Group’ at the prestigious NCC North Eastern Region (NER) Directorate Annual Award Ceremony held at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, Panjabari.

The ceremony celebrated the dedication and achievements of outstanding NCC cadets and officers across the region.  It was graced by Governor Laxman Acharya as the chief guest, alongside Minister Nandita Garlosa, Maj. Gen. Gagan Deep, and other senior NCC officers.

Cadets and officers from Tripura, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Assam were also recognized for their exemplary contributions.

Addressing the gathering, Garlosa praised the NCC’s role in fostering discipline, patriotism, and leadership among youth. She extended her best wishes to all awardees, urging them to continue striving for excellence in their future endeavors.

Expressing gratitude for the recognition, Tadang Minu thanked NCC-1 APBN Naharlagun for acknowledging her contributions. She emphasized that such accolades serve as motivation for NCC officers and cadets to remain dedicated to national service and leadership development.

With the presence of esteemed dignitaries and enthusiastic cadets, the event reaffirmed the NCC’s pivotal role in shaping future leaders and responsible citizens, making it a memorable occasion for all.
