ITANAGAR: A day-long health mela was conducted at Bera Village in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh on Friday by AIDA SBI Sanjeevani Clinic on wheels, in collaboration with the district health department and Dibrugarh-based Drishti Netralaya. The camp was organized as part of the ongoing ‘Swastha Mann Swastha Ghar ‘ campaign to promote health and well-being and to serve the basic medical needs of the poor inhabitants of the locality.

An efficient team of doctors, nurses, lab technicians, and medical staff from RBSK, NCD, NVBDCP, Drishti, and AIDA Sanjeevani rendered a range of health services and raised awareness on various aspects related to health and diseases. A total of 163 patients of all age groups from Bera and nearby villages benefited from the event. A total of 54 patients were provided with the pathological lab test, and 42 were treated with computer eye screening, where six patients were found to have surgery requirements.
