ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh did not report any fresh COVID-19 case in the past 24 hours, said a senior Health Department official said here on Friday. The total caseload in the northeastern state remained at 16,838 while 16,780 persons have recuperated from the disease so far, said State Surveillance Officer DrLobsangJampa.
Currently, there are two active cases -- both from Tirap district, while 56 people died due to the contagion so far.
The State's recovery rate and positivity rate stand at 99.65 percent and 0.01 percent, respectively. Altogether, 4,07,377samples have been tested, including 3,615 on Thursday, added DrJampa.
Meanwhile, a total of 34,475 Health and frontline workers have been inoculated in the State thus far, informed State Immunisation Officer DimongPadung. The Health Department has been carrying out the inoculation drive four days a week -- Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
