Rama Krishna Mission School, Aalo took out rally to spread Vivekananda’s messages

Itanagar: A huge procession was taken out at Aalo town in West Kameng district on Monday to spread Swami Vivekananda’s messages of man-making and character building.

The procession, participated by swamis, teachers, alumni of the Rama Krishna Mission School of Aalo, was taken out from Boken Ete residence to the streets of the town with banners, posters, band party and slogans, an official communique informed. The procession was flagged off by Swami Suvirananda, general secretary of Rama Krishna Math and Mission, Belur Math who, landed here to inaugurate the Secondary School Building of RK Mission School.

The Swami is on his home coming after 23 years of his departure from the school as its head. He was instrumental in nurturing the school as a shrewd academic administrator for more than a decade.

He was also the AGS of Rama Krishna Mission at Belur Math, for 10 long years till his elevation as the General Secretary.

Swami Suvirananda and his team of monks offered floral tribute to the Samadhi of Boken Ete, who was instrumental in starting the Rama Krishna Mission School at Aalo.

The Rama Krishna Mission Alumni Association (RKMAA), had detail interaction with Swami Suvirananda, the communique added.
