Itanagar: A day-long training programme on linking self help group (SHG) members with Ayushman Bharat and Poshan scheme was conducted at Aalo in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday.
The training programme was conducted by urban development and housing department in coordination with line departments of National Health Mission (NHM) and ICDS under the DAY-NULM scheme, an official communiqué informed.
The UD & housing department dwelt at length on importance of various trades under National Urban Livelihood Mission and need to link their names and account under the scheme to reap benefits from the self sustenance programme introduced by the Centre. The officers of the line departments including deputy director of ICDS Bahe Koyu spoke in detail on Poshan scheme and health welfare measures under NHM, the communiqué added.
