Veterinary-cum-medical camp held in Arunachal Pradesh

A medical and veterinary camp was organized by the medical and veterinary staff of Ball of Fire of Division of the Army under ‘Operation Samaritan’ at the remote village of Gorsam in Arunachal Pradesh recently.

TEZPUR: A medical and veterinary camp was organized by the medical and veterinary staff of Ball of Fire of Division of the Army under 'Operation Samaritan' at the remote village of Gorsam in Arunachal Pradesh recently.

Medical check-up and investigation with laboratory facilities were provided at the camp, while free medicines and supplements were distributed to the local populace. A total of 324 civilians and 150 cattle were treated during the camp.

The provided an ideal platform to assist the needy patients who, being from far-flung areas, were otherwise devoid of any treatment by specialists. The endeavor was highly successful in enhancing civil-military cooperation and winnings of hearts and minds of the local populace in the remote village.

The gesture from the Army was highly appreciated as it provided medical succor to needy people.
