TEZPUR: Acting on a tip-off, an excise raid was carried out in areas of Bakola-Morixuti, Kherbari under Sootea LAC, Uriamguri, Magarbasti, Dolabari under Tezpur LAC, and Natun Sirajuli, Tulip Tea Estate and 2 No. Oriontoli under Barchala LAC of Sonitpur district. The raid was supervized by SE, Sonitpur. During the course of the raid, around 1,600 litres of illicit liquor and 100 bottles of IMFL and beer were destroyed/seized, officials sources said.
