MERAPANI: A road accident took place near Lakhibari public playground under Jamuguri police station of Golaghat district on Wednesday. In the road mishap, Sontosh Nayak and Jayanta Kalita were severely injured. According to information, the former knocked down the latter with his Glamour bike (registration number AS03-1098). Both the injured persons were sent to Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital for treatment.
