BARPETA: The number of COVID cases in Barpeta district is increasing day-by-day. On Tuesday, 205 new cases were detected. All total 2,542 people have tested positive till now. Amongst them, 840 have been discharged. Since Monday night, four people have died of COVID in the district. So far the death cases has risen to 29 in the district.
