A CORRESPONDENT
BARPETA: Total 36 people tested COVID-19 positive in Barpeta district on Saturday. Among them, 3 are from Kumarhati, Barpeta town and 14 are inmates of Barpeta District Jail. The rest are from Bamunbori,Sarupeta, Gobindapur, Gelabil, Byashkuchi, Chapra, Chikni, Ghugubari, Kachukati, Kadamtola, Baharigaon, Pathsala, Balaguri and Kalgachiya of Barpeta district. Till now total 764 positive cases have been detected in the district and 125 are active cases. Rest have been discharged from hospitals after recovery.
