PALASBARI: In a major haul, around 5 kg of ganja was seized by Chhaygaon police on Tuesday night from the house of one Amjad Ali at Jahirpur under Chhaygaon LAC. Police sources said that a raid was conducted at Jahirpur area and the police arrested Amjad Ali's son Saddam Ali with 5 kg ganja from his house. Amjad Ali's son had been allegedly operating ganja trade for a long time. In this regard, a case has been registered at the Chhaygaon police station.
