DIBRUGARH: Under the supervision of the NCC Directorate North Eastern Region, the 63rd Assam Battalion NCC had a successful firing practice session at the S A Firing Range, Dibrugarh University.
With the goal of enhancing the cadets' combat preparedness and marksmanship, this exercise provided practical training in precise firearm handling. In order to ensure that NCC cadets acquire the abilities and self-discipline required for future responsibilities in national defence and security, these sessions are essential.
Earlier this month, NCC cadets from the North East Region (NER), Delhi, and West Bengal & Sikkim Directorates came together to celebrate India’s diverse cultural heritage at the "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" Camp, organized by the Dibrugarh Group of the NER Directorate.
The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including the GOC Spear Corps, the Zonal President of Spear AWWA, the GOC Dao Division, and the Chairperson Dao AWWA, who were present as chief guest and honoured guests.
The cadets impressed the audience with lively performances of traditional music and dance, representing various cultural traditions from across India. These performances showcased the country’s rich customs and the unity in its diversity.
The dignitaries were highly appreciative, applauding the cadets for their outstanding talent and dedication. The chief guest and other guests expressed their admiration for the cadets, commending them for their commitment to preserving and promoting India’s cultural heritage.
